Amy Clayton is an avid music lover who has been teaching music since the early 1990’s. A native of Calgary, she holds a Bachelor of Music, a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma in Musical Instrument Repair. Amy is trained in both classical and jazz techniques and is proud to be a member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association.

Amy has over 25 years of experience teaching Concert Band and Jazz Band to Junior and Senior High School students. She is active in the music community as the President, Music Director and Lead Tenor Saxophonist of the Hippocratic Oath Big Band as well as playing Lead Alto Saxophone with the Cochrane Riverside Jazz Band. Amy is excited to share the experience, skills, and techniques she has gained over the last 40 years.
